FALL CELEBRATION GENERAL MEETING    October 21, 2021   - 5:30 to 7:30 p.m.
Riverside Nature Center - 150 Francisco Lemos St in Kerrville

Greetings to all LWV Members and Friends,

At last, we are going to join together for an evening of fun, food, and fellowship on Thursday, October 21 from 5:30 until 7:30 at the Riverside Nature Center outdoor pavilion in central Kerrville. With a Body, Mind, Spirit theme, our fall meeting will celebrate things that make us happy.

                * For our bodies we will share a potluck dinner following our social time. Keeping it casual and stress-free, we are inviting everyone to bring either an appetizer, a salad (pasta, fruit, green, etc.), or a dessert, BYOB if you choose.

Tea, sparkling water, and bread will be provided.

                * For our minds we have a fabulous speaker lined up. Tara Bushnoe, Natural Resources Coordinator at the Upper Guadalupe River Authority. Tara will share with us the important place that water quality plays in our Hill Country area and her role in promoting its health by coordinating water quality monitoring and conducting

outreach and education. We will also learn how we can assist in this important work.

                * For our spirits we can enjoy the beautiful trails, flora, and fauna available in the nature center and most importantly, we can share community with friends, old and new. This is a chance to catch up and enjoy one another after a challenging year and a half.

I can’t wait to see everyone in person again. Please dress very casually and if you have any questions or concerns please contact me.   Meeting will also be on Zoom.  Free, no registration needed.  Public welcome.

Warmly,

Deb Edwards, Events Coordinator
