Our Next Elections

On Saturday, May 3, 2025, Hill Country voters will vote on  local city/school races. Make sure your voice is heard and your vote is counted!

You can now find our online nonpartisan voter guides at Vote411.org. You can look up your address, see the races that will be on your own ballot, and read candidates' answers to the League of Women Voters' questions for the May 3 election.

Dates for Local Elections - May 3, 2025

Key dates for Candidates

  • Wednesday, January 15, 2025:  First day for filing as a Candidate
  • Friday,  February 15, 2025: Last day for filing as a Candidate

Key dates for Voters

       Voter Registration

  • Thursday, April 3, 2025: Last day to register to vote or to change county/address on registration

       Vote by Mail

  • Wednesday, January 1, 2025: First day to apply for Mail in Ballot
  • Tuesday, April 22, 2025: Last day to apply for Mail in Ballot
  •  Saturday,  May 3, 2023: Election Day and vote-by-mail receipt deadline

       Early Voting

  • Tuesday, April 22, 2025: First day of early voting in-person
  • Tuesday, April 29, 2025: Last day of early voting in-person

       Election Day

  • Saturday, May 3, 2025: Election Day In-person voting at voting location

Local Elections

  • Bandera County - no May election
  • Blanco County - 16 positions (two cities, three school boards, library district, water district)
  • Gillespie County - 8 positions (one city, two school districts, water district)
  • Kendall County - 11 positions (two cities, three school districts)
  • Kerr County - 9 positions (two cities, two school boards)
  • Llano County - 13 positions (two cities, three school districts)
